Bookbuyer by day, I work full-time at Gulliver's Books, the USA's farthest north independent bookstore. It is both inspiring and distracting to be around books all the time. There's so much to read, and never enough time!
My addiction to the written word is genetic, at least that's the excuse I'm giving. Space Opera is my favorite genre both to read and to write. I like to incorporate elements of both science fiction and fantasy in my writing, with a little horror thrown in to spice things up.
My husband and I moved from Chicago to Fairbanks, Alaska in 2005. When I'm not writing or holding a book, I knit, sketch, and take my English Mastiff princess, Dinah, on mosquito-infested summertime walks and frostbite-inducing ones in the winter.
